The HiteMed Team

L. Codi Hite, M.D.

Evaluating Physician

Codi Hite, M.D., brings both the expertise of a military physician and experienced VA evaluator, and a deep commitment to caring for veterans to each case she takes.

Raised in the mountains of South Carolina, Dr. Hite graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2013 before completing a residency in internal medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

She served in a number of roles at Keesler AFB, MS, as a US Air Force physician before separating in 2020 at the grade of major. VA and veteran medicine have since grown to be the core of her practice.

Everett Hite

Practice Manager

Everett Hite served as a US Air Force F-15E pilot before being medically retired at the grade of captain. A newly-minted civilian, Everett completed two years of medical school at the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC, before later co-founding Hite Medical.

With a strong understanding of both medicine and the VA process, Everett is available to discuss cases with clients and handle administration even when the doctor can't be.

Memories of the disorientation and uncertainty of the VA compensation processes are still fresh for Everett, and drive his commitment to helping other veterans navigate their own cases.
